Bob has been married to his wife Rhonda for 36 years and together they have three daughters, Gina (married to husband Harry) Cheri (married to husband Brian) and Sara (married to husband Joe) and from them have four grandchildren with another on the way. Bob and Rhonda live in rural Fredonia, KS about 6 miles from Toronto Lake where he works for the Kansas Wildlife & Parks Department. He has been employed as a Game Warden for almost 26 years. He began shooting a bow in 1983 with his good friend Dennis McCool when the family lived in Topeka. In the beginning he traded three fishing poles at the bait shop on California Street for his first real bow. Since then he has hunted both species of deer, antelope, elk, bear, and turkey with a bow. He graciously admits to having more unfilled tags than ones with blood on them, and has been a KBA member since 1992. |
