Richard lives with his wife, Marilyn, near Holyrood in Ellsworth County, on the farm Marilyn’s Grandfather started 100 years ago.  He admits to being a bit spoiled.  Most of his hunting is no further away than his own backyard.

“Over the years I have watched the erosion of our bow hunting season with increasing concern, and I decided to become more proactive.  I was elected as N.W. Representative, a position I filled for eight years, before being elected as Vice President in 2010.  What the KBA has accomplished for the Bowhunters of Kansas is nothing short of remarkable.  I will do what I can to further those achievements into the future.”
